ABOUT
Eat art was founded in 2000 by Emma Allen and Mark Opie with the help of The Princes Trust.
Emma first became aware of picture framing as an art form in itself whilst studying art in school and college and was particularly inspired by the work of Gustav Klimt and Hans Pellar.
Mark’s background is in woodworking and his interest in picture framing was sparked by the craftsmanship involved.
Over the years, Emma and Mark have been joined by likeminded individuals with similar creative and practical backgrounds and it is this successful combination that was recognised by The Princes Trust when eat art was awarded 1st place in the regional new business awards and 3rd place in the national awards in 2003/4.
The eat art team now enjoys a reputation as one of the best picture framers in the South West, working with clients throughout the UK, including leading local artists and galleries.
